This is a shortened version of NuEnglish spelling rules for use here. This sample of NuEnglish uses AE, EE, IE, OE, and UE instead using macrons (a line over the vowel) for the "long" vowels. This spelling will be used for handwritten words since it is easier to simply add an E than to pick up your pen or pencil, make a macron, and find your place again to continue. It will also be used on computers that are not set up for macrons. Most published material will use vowels with macrons because it is shorter and slightly easier to read than adding an E for "long" vowels. And thae sed tue hur, “Woomun, hwie or yue weeping?” Shee sed tue them, “Bik*auz thae hav taekun uw*ae mie Loerd, and Ie due not noe hwer thae hav laed Him.” And hwen shee had sed this, shee turnd ur*ound and sau Jeezus standing thar, and did not noe that it wuz Jeezus. Jeezus sed tue hur, “Woomun, hwie or yue weeping? Huem or yue seeking?” Shee, sup*oezing Him tue bee thu gordnur, sed tue Him, “Sur, if Yue hav kareed Him uw*ae, tel mee hwer Yue hav laed Him, and Ie wil taek Him uwae.” Jeezus sed tue hur, “Meree!” Shee turnd and sed tue Him, “Rub*oenie[Rabboni]!” (hwich iz tue sae, Teechur). Then thu dis*iepulz wur glad hwen thae sau thu Loerd. Then Jeezus sed tue them ug*en, “Pees bee witt yue. Az Mie Fothur haz sent Mee, Ie aulsoe send yue.” And hwen Hee had sed this, Hee breethd on them, and sed tue them, “Ris*eev thu Hoelee Spirut. Thee uthur dis*iepulz tharfoer sed tue him, “Wee hav seen thu Loerd.” But hee sed tue them, “Unles Ie see in Hiz handz thu print uv thu naelz, poot mie finggur intue thu print uv thu naelz, and poot mie hand intue Hiz sied, Ie wil not bul*eev.” And aftur aet daez Hiz dis*iepulz wur ug*en ins*ied, and Tomus witt them. Jeezus kaem, thu doerz beeing shut, and stood in thu midst, and sed, “Pees bee witt yue.” Then Hee sed tue Tomus, “Reech yoor finggur hir, and look at Mie handz; and reech yoor hand hir, and poot it intue Mie sied. And due not bee unbul*eeving, but bul*eeving.” And Tomus ansurd and sed tue Him, “Mie Loerd and mie God!” Jeezus sed tue him, “Tomus, bik*auz yue hav seen Mee, yue hav bul*eevd. Then Peetur, turning uround, sau thu dis*iepul huem Jeezus luvd foluwing, hue aulsoe had leend on Hiz chest at thu supur, and had sed, “Loerd, hue iz thu wun hue bitr*aez Yue?” Peetur, seeing him, sed tue Jeezus, “Loerd, and hwot wil this man due?” Jeezus sed tue him, “If Ie wil that hee rim*aen til Ie kum, hwot iz that tue yue? Yue foloe Mee.” Then this saeing went out um*ung thu brethrun that this dis*iepul wood not die. Yet Jeezus did not sae tue him that hee wood not die, but, “If Ie wil that hee rim*aen til Ie kum, hwot iz that tue yue?” This iz thu dis*iepul hue testufiez uv theez ttingz, and roet theez ttingz; and wee noe that hiz testum*oenee iz true.
